Who We Are
AIB Training was set up in 2022 with the intention of raising standards among the existing workforce and to ensure that new entrants to the industry are fully equipped to deal with a fast moving and dynamic industry.
The company has worked closely with the accredited training regulator Highfield Qualifications to create and deliver a realistic and fit for purpose curriculum to allow operatives reach their potential in an ever changing and increasingly demanding environment.
As society changes and increased levels of confrontation and anti-social behaviours become the norm, AIB Training offers enhanced levels of training to all categories of security operatives to better meet new challenges in the workplace.

“DJ started with us in 2017 as a steward for our summer events. When AIB Training introduced door supervisor courses, DJ’s interest grew as it opened up more work opportunities year-round. With his DS license secured, DJ continued to work events as a seasoned licensed operative, honing his skills alongside fellow staff members. Following the summer season, DJ took on the role of team leader at MK Lightning for three years, contributing to events like Ultra White Collar Boxing and Reggaeland. As time went on, AIB offered DJ a permanent position at Westcoast in Milton Keynes, where his accumulated experience led him to become a site supervisor.”
“AIB Training places great emphasis on internal promotion, actively partnering with our Security division to ensure that every member of our team has the chance to advance their skills. To date, we’ve empowered over 20 of our stewards to step into SIA Licensed door supervisor roles and facilitated the progression of 5 door supervisors to SIA Licensed close protection positions. Moreover, we’ve provided training for 5 door supervisors to attain their Medical Certification in Level 3 First Response Emergency Care “FREC” . Our commitment to fostering career growth within our ranks underscores our dedication to cultivating a highly skilled and experienced workforce within the industry.”
“Carla started at AIB in August 2023 as a steward for Reggaeland in Milton Keynes. She worked various events across the summer, gaining experience. AIB security noticed her hard work and trained her for a DS badge to expand our licensed staff. Carla completed her DS course while stewarding at MK Lightning and was promoted upon receiving her badge. Now, she works weekends at MK Lightning in a response role, as well as learning from experienced guards during events. Encouraging women in security is vital as demand grows.”
